If they tested loaded, then what was the payload in the bed? How about length/size/payload of the trailer? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me that you'd see larger improvements when loaded versus unloaded unloaded, your truck isn't working as hard. They aren't telling you how their test truck was configured (e.g., 2WD/4WD, differential gearing, intake, exhaust, heavy suspension, lift, etc.) nor are they telling you their test procedure (good luck getting them to tell you that). Banks tells you that they performed exhaustive tests. There's too many variables in our trucks. I'm not here to insult anyone or to start a fight, but really: why did you go against your initial skepticism? You trusted what the sales man told you even after being told that you couldn't return it if you were dissatisfied. That's what this place is for correct.to inform.Sorry I'm not being an anyone tell me if it's even realistic to expect 13 MPG while towing (an unknown weight/size/whatever) trailer?Ĭlick to expand. It was directed at you and what I'm trying to say is that you should be more realistic without insulting your intelligence. So I wanted to inform anyone who was ready to rush out and buy to wait just a little while longer because things may not be true as stated. I have alot more miles to run before I get really mad, but it's just not looking too good at this point. So I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and I more than anyone want the 3-5 to be true. And if you read back a few posts you will see that I simple stated the facts and said "don't give up on it yet". :nono:The reality is when I ask someone a question I don't expect them to lie to me to just make the sale.
It's noble of you to inform others, but I believe that in all fairness, you should give them the benefit of the doubt because the computer does take time to learn and readjust.
The reality is that you bought the product even after questioning the legitimacy of their claims. Maybe I can come back later next week and give better news. So dash gauge should have said 13.2MPG for me to be happy Hand calculated came out to 9.46MPG dash gauge said 10.2MPG. Unless I am doing somethig wrong, at this point, I would not ad vise anyone who is looking to increase MPG while towing to buy this product. So as you can tell I'm not in the mood to give to much detail at this point but I just finished my second tank set on level two this time. will I get better MPG? Reply was, you will see your best gains while towing. because one person might get this and one person might get that.blah blah. I asked do you have a satisfaction guarentee.the reply was no. I asked over and over again.RU sure I will see 3-5. 5k miles on new tiresand more.Click to expand.Well they quoted me 3-5 increase. I am the second owner of the truck, though it has traveled across the States a few of times.
The interior and exterior have been cared for and maintained. This truck drives nice and runs great very dependable. The transmission has been changed regularly using motorcraft SP. I have used synthetic oil (T6) in the engine & Royal Purple in the front and rear diffs. I am very meticulous with maintenance, and I believe the photos will speak for that. The reason for selling is because we have updated our vehicles and purchased a new truck. My wife drove it for the first 100k miles, and then I have been using it since then. It has been an excellent truck for me and will be for you. Excellent Condition 3/4 Ton Crew Cab Short Box 4x4 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel I am selling my 2007 F-250 Super duty King Ranch Crew Cab.
